Art Deco Tour
Home to 'possibly the finest woman sculptor in the world', Dorich House was built in 1936 and owned by Dora Gordine and her husband, Richard Hare. A rare example of art-deco design in this country, the museum exhibits many of Gordine's bronzes, paintings and drawings, as well as her husbands large collection of Russian Imperial Art.
Entrance to the museum is free for under 16s, £4 for adults, and £3 concessions. You can usually visit between 11am-4pm, but it is open to the public until 5pm on its monthly open days, which include a guided tour between 11.30am-2.30pm and can be booked by calling 020 8417 5515.
Upcoming open days are on the 3rd, 17th & 31st May, with the last day holding a special Spring Garden Cafe event for £6.50. June will see two open days on the 7th & 20th, the latter date including an £8 evening tour. The final visiting days will then be on the 5th, 19th & 28th July.
