Likened by many to the legendary Irish guitarist
Rory Gallagher , Belfast-raised Dom has won many awards for his acoustic work, including a 2019 European award and UK awards in 2020/2021 and 2022. As a result, he is now an inductee into the UK Blues Hall of Fame.
He has attracted the attention of
Joe Bonamassa who has invited him to perform on the 3rd annual
Keeping the Blues Alive Mediterranean Cruise in August 2023, alongside a host of stars including
Kenny Wayne Shepherd ,
Blackberry Smoke and
Christone “Kingfish” Ingram .
During his debut year in 2019, Dom undertook two UK tours and played at many festivals around the world. Towards the end of that year, he released his debut album,
Spain to Italy. In early 2020 he completed his first European tour, taking in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany before returning to Northern Ireland via shows in England just a week before the first Covid lockdown.

During the lockdowns, Dom played online, continuing to build up a solid and loyal fanbase. In June 2020, he and his band headlined the Rory Gallagher online 25th-anniversary video which was shown on all the official Rory Gallagher channels.
In December 2020, during a lockdown break, Dom and the band played a one-off show in the UK which was recorded and released in June 2021 as
Live At The Harlington. It was subsequently nominated for Blues Album Of the Year at the 2022 UK Blues Awards.
Sophomore studio album,
A Savage Life, was released in April 2022 to rave reviews in the blues press. In May last year, he was nominated in five categories at The UK Blues Awards (Blues Vocalist of The Year, Best Album of The Year, Best Blues Band of The Year, Blues Instrumentalist of The Year and Acoustic Blues Artist of The Year), with Dom lifting the last two and playing at the awards ceremony in London.
The third studio album,
Buried In The Hail, is due for release in September 2023 and will be accompanied by a huge UK tour.

Looking ahead to his spring acoustic tour, Dom says “
I can’t wait to see my UK fans again with my solo show. I can never quite believe how quiet they are when I'm playing, it really helps me get right into the moment, it’s an awesome feeling for both me and the audience."
