Disco Loco is all about family fun. Taking place at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on the first Sunday of every month from October to March, Disco Loco is a splendidly unique event that gives parents and kids a chance to take to the dance floor and let loose (though Dad better take it easy or he might end up in the back of an ambulance).


Resident DJs supply the sounds, covering genres that should please parents at both ends of the age scale – and in between too. And don't worry, you won't have to shout your mouth off to be heard over the music. While quiet enough to chat with friends, organisers promise that it'll still be "loud enough for you and your kids to lose it on the dance floor."

Upstairs you'll find the main party room with DJs, a fully-licensed bar and a wide array of snacks to keep you energised.

Downstairs, meanwhile, there'll be yet more DJs and what the organisers describe as a more "toddler-friendly" vibe.

Disco Loco is a non-profit community event put on by an enthusiastic group of local residents keen on offering affordable and friendly activities for families with young children.

Entrance costs just £3 – not bad for three hours of entertainment. And everyone is welcome, from babes in arms to Gran and Grandpa.
