The Rhythms of New Orleans

Not so long ago, a young gentleman from London travelled to the dirty swamps of Louisiana and discovered a love for the swinging rhythms of New Orleans. Soaking up the atmosphere - which isn't difficult in a swamp - he worked with local jazz and blues masters.
Upon his return home, this young gentleman found something was missing in the music of this vibrant city. The swamps of Louisiana. So he called up a few of his old school mates, set up a band, and now the Dirty Gentleman are a nine-piece orchestra featuring guitars, accordions, harmonicas, bass, drums, and sax.
On the 26th February, find out why George Elliot fell for the southern sounds of the swamp, as they perform at the Brazilian Floripa restaurant in Shoreditch. Doors open from 5pm, entry is free, and there is a happy (two) hour on cocktails until 7pm.
