You don't have to wear a dinner jacket, or any other kind of jacket to eat a baked potato in Covent Garden . Just go along to Dinner Jackets in front of the Jubilee Market Hall and treat yourself to an inexpensive healthy snack any time of the day.

Alan is there seven days a week from about 8.30am in the morning until 6.30pm in the evening, so you can eat a potato for breakfast, lunch, tea or supper. They are kept crisp on the outside and fluffy inside and can be served with a variety of toppings including cheddar or cottage cheese, meat or veggie chilli and baked beans, washed down with a cold drink.

Dinner Jackets have been serving potatoes from their van since 1983 and cook about 50 or 60 Maris Pipers a day. So next time you're in Covent Garden and fancy a healthy, warm snack, just go and see Alan, and tell him that Sandra sent you.
