Feeling blue? I'm not sure about you, but my cure for Tuesday blues was cured by
The Diner, located in Camden.
Heading over after a stressful day at work, where lunch breaks were not in the days vocabulary, I managed to score a fantastic booth seat with my boyfriend at one of Camden's great food hot spots.
Perusing the menu proved to be a challenging endeavour, as the variations on simple burgers and hot dogs was quite immense.
After 15 minutes we decided on an assortment of sides and mains. The winners were the
DCB (Diner Chicken Burger) the
Diner Dog,
Fries and
Diner Wings with Blue Cheese Sauce.
Starving and eyeing the kitchen window we luckily only had to wait a short time for our food to arrive.
The hot wings were on par with
MEATliquor, and the hot dog and DCB were equally as flavoursome.
The perfect companion to the wings were of course, the crowd favourite, blue cheese sauce, which was textured and creamy.
Although a little dry initially, the DCB burger managed to moisten with the addition of condiments, such as ketchup and American mustard.
With a mouthwatering menu, comprised of an all day breakfast and a selection of naughty milkshakes,
The Diner does live up to its name. Located in seven locations (North of the Thames) make sure you find your closest one and enjoy a top notch blues cure.
