'%%London Bridge is falling down, falling down
London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady.%%'
'Then stop whining a build another one.'
'But who should we commission to design it? Some famous architect?'
'Nah, get a kid to do it.'
Okay, London Bridge isn't really falling down, but it never hurts to play it safe, which is why the people from the Tower Bridge Experience are asking for your help. This is a call out to all six to fourteen year olds, if you think you have the skill to design your very own bridge, then send in your entries by the 14th March. The winner of the national
Design a Bridge Competition will have a 3D model of it built and put up on display until the 31st July.
Will your bridge be high-tech and futuristic, old fashioned, or absolutely wacky? The choice is up to you.
You can design your bridge through any medium you wish - pen & pencil, crayon, paint. You can even use dried pasta or digital software. If you do choose to make your bridge using three dimensional materials, however, take note that all entries must be submitted on flat A4 paper, which means you will have to scan, and scale your creation to the appropriate size.
To enter, download the
entry form and send it to:
