Visitor's to Tooting Bec now have a new place to stop off for a snack or to meet friends - the Deelicious! patisserie on Tooting Bec.

The patisserie is situated a stone's throw from Tooting Bec Underground station and the mini shopping area. It is a beacon of new style cafes in this rather run down area of South West London,

The cake shop is owned Nazish Omar, who bakes the wonderful cupcakes, wedding cakes and quiches which are for sale in the shop. It is worth just taking a look in the window to see the wonderfully decorated cakes on display.

We tried the very moist and orangey marmalade cake and a selection of cupcakes. All of which passed the taste test.

For those who wish to have a go at making their own, there are plans to open up the kitchen for cupcake decorating classes.
