River Rea

Visual artist David Rowan, who is based in Birmingham has produced a 'Walk On' exhibition, which navigates the course of Birmingham's River Rea.

Rowan produces bodies of work for publication, projects and gallery exhibitions in collaboration with other artists, curators and organisations to produce unique art work.

He works to private commission and in collaboration with art galleries throughout the U.K. and Europe.

The exhibition showcases the river through a series of moving pictures. Taking inspiration from Roy Fisher's poem Birmingham River, The Dark River continues Rowan's long term photographic and film interest in the city's waterways, and builds upon his recent photographic seriesPacha Kuti Ten.

The show features a series of moving pictures, navigating the river Rea. It's part of Flatpack Festival and was inspired by Roy Fisher's poem Birmingham River.

Catch it while you can.
