Danny Bowes and Luke Morley from British rock band Thunde r will be on stage at Birmingham Town Hall for a different kind of show on November 7, 2021.

The duo are touring the UK with their spoken word and acoustic music presentation, The First 50 Years. They promise an evening of funny and personal tales (told to journalist Mick Wall ) based around their new book, Danny Bowes & Luke Morley – The First 50 Years, published to mark the anniversary of their first meeting in secondary school in September 1971.

The shows will also offer a scattering of acoustic versions of some of the fans' favourite songs from throughout their remarkable career.

The book charts the personal and musical history of Thunder frontman Danny and guitarist Luke. The group formed in 1989 and this year released their 13th studio album, All The Right Moves.

On December 17 and 18 Thunder will perform special Christmas gigs at KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton. In 2022 they return to arena shows, including a gig at Resorts World Arena, Birmingham , on May 27.
