The CV and Job Searching help sessions are perfect for anyone looking for a new career this year. The start of the year can be a time when some people start wanting a new job. However, it's not always easy. If you have been out of work for a while or it's been a long time since you've had to update your CV, job hunting can feel daunting and you might not know where to start. Luckily there are free sessions available to help you navigate the difficult task ahead. Job hunting can be a lonely pursuit, so it is nice to find somewhere to help you and a place where you can get advice and guidance. The Manchester Libraries are also great places to job hunt as you can use computers for free and use the free wifi.

Choosing the best way to apply for job roles can be difficult, that's why these advice sessions are a great help. Bring along a CV if you already have one which needs updating or you can start one from scratch with the help of friendly library staff. The sessions are run as a drop-in session, so there is no need to book, just come along and see what the advisers can do for you. Free for anyone this is a great way to get support.
