Cup Tea Lounge on Renfield street and Cup Merchant City are both lovely venues to spend an afternoon or evening with the girls. In the afternoon, enjoy a tea from their large tea menu including Black teas, Oolong teas, Rooibos teas, Green teas, White teas, Herbal infusions and Fruit Infusions. Booking is highly recommended, I have had to queue to get in a few times but it's worth it. Once inside the Renfield street branch, the room is stunning, with beautiful architecture. Cup in Merchant City isn't as grand inside but has a nice selection of booths inside and loads of outdoor seating for the summer months. From my experience, this one is usually slightly quieter than the other, so much easier to get a table.

Onto the evening and both these venues turn into gin bars and amazing gin bars at that. From 5pm, Gin 71 takes over both venues with gin menus just as large as the tea menu. On offer are modern classics, fruity gin, floral gin, spiced gin, Scottish gin, savoury gin, aged gin and citrus gin. Can't decide? Then pick a gin flight which gives you an opportunity to try 3 different ones. Your experience starts as soon as you arrive. The staff will show you to your table and provide table service all night. They are very knowledgeable and are very helpful when choosing what to order. First choose your gin, then your tonic type and finally your garnish. The menu provides recommendations on what tastes best together but you can create the drink for you.
