Pubs are a bit of an endangered species these days; they'r closing left right, and centre. But they are still important places to many people because it provides a sense of community.
In some cases, pubs are a bit like buses. You cant find any for miles, and then three turn up all at once. I can't imagine it is good for business to have so much competition near by, but then again, if they a group of friends are on a weekend pub crawl, then it might actually be beneficial to have three down the same street. And if you are by a cricket green with lots of cricketers hungry after a match, then all the better.
Within a thirty second walk there are three pubs around Mitcham Cricket Green, which is perfect for a pub crawl, or just nice to be spoilt for choice.
1. The White Hart 350 London Road, Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 3ND 020 8648 1587 Monday-Saturday 11:00am-12am, Sunday 12pm-11:30pm
