Local craft group Crafty Muthas will be at the Mailbox this weekend with their Christmas market. There will be stalls by designers from across the region selling everything from jewellery to homemade chutneys.



The designers are a talented bunch, and a handful of their work can be found in stores across Birmingham. If you can't make it to the market, you can find Jennie Sandford, and Madeline Norris's handiwork in handmade boutique in the Great Western Arcade.

Crafty Muthas market is worth a visit, simply because the bespoke designs are just that. Each piece is individual, and would make great one of a kind presents, especially with the festive season in full swing.

If you're not in the gift-giving mood, then have a mooch with your friends, and treat yourself. The jewellery, food stuffs, and craft items are competitively priced so you're getting a fair deal, and supporting local businesses, as opposed to the big wigs. You might as well have a little splurge - it would be rude not to.
