Trinity is a lively congregation of members from various church traditions (or none), many different nationalities and a diverse age group. They are the only United Reformed Church serving the London Borough of Merton. A Fairtrade church, they also take part in the United Reformed Church's Commitment for Life programme. For the last three years, this being the fourth
Festival they have raised between £3000 and £4000, each year donating to
various charities.
This year's recipient,
London's Air Ambulance are London's only Air Ambulance operating 24/7. They've carried out over 1825 missions in 2016 and over 36,000 since they started in 1989. They are a world leader with a number of '
firsts' to their name and more. "
On average, five people every 24 hours in London are so seriously injured that they need advanced life-saving medical treatment on scene, before they reach hospital. With your help our advanced trauma doctor and paramedic can be by their side within minutes to perform medical procedures normally only found in the hospital Emergency Department, giving them the best possible chance of survival and recovery."
