Pizza, but not as you know it
Craft beer and pizza dough. The perfect combination for a weekend afternoon or evening. This is top quality pizza at its best; innovative creations made with high-end ingredients for your delight. And as well as craft beer, they do cocktails!
The drinks menu is so extensive. There are ten types of beer and with multiple choices for every kind, making a choice is the only problem.
The pizza menu changes over time which is both great and potentially disappointing. As a vegetarian, I was delighted with the no-tomato-butternut-squash-instead number that they were running a few months ago, so I was slightly sad when it wasn't there more recently. But they were obliging about taking the meat out of the new Mexican-themed pizza and I was happy with that. There are lots of meaty options too with something for everyone, including the gluten-free.
The place is well named because the dough is amazing. It's more than just a vehicle for the toppings, but a tasty, chewy, deliciousness in its own right. Gluten-free is available for a small extra charge.
There are three branches of this independent Sheffield chain – Ecclesall Road, Campo Lane and Kelham Island. I've only been to the first of the three, but I've been there more than once. I love the tiled walls – I always wonder about who started the job. Where would you start a job like that? Congratulations to whoever that person is, because it looks beautiful now.

If you make it over to the Kelham Island branch early enough on a weekend, then you can enjoy their brunch menu. Available 10am-1pm, it includes buttermilk pancakes, as well as the full English or veggie equivalent. Personally on the morning after the night before, I'd be happy enough eating cold pizza, but hey, buttermilk pancakes – bring 'em on!
