How many homegrown beers can you name? Or maybe the better question is how many can you drink? A new pop-up pub will soon be placing bar stools down in Shoreditch come late September, and they will be offering eight thousand different types of craft beer from Britain and Northern Ireland.
Every Friday and Saturday from the 20th September - 14th December, you can book a free seat at 232 Shoreditch High Street, for a social get together with your mates. The drinks menu will change weekly and include draught, bottled, rare, one-off, and collaboration brews. There will also be rum, whisky, vodka and wine, all of which is from the UK.
London chefs will also be on hand to mop up all those liquids with tantalising street food from all over the world. Start off with a selection of traditional British pubs pies with a twist: Squirrel, Beer, Prune and Barley, then head for the
Speckmobile for a taste of Austria.
The Mighty Fork has American hotdogs with globally inspired toppings, such as sauerkraut and wasabi mayo, while Colonel Tom's Gumbo is a hearty meal to warm your innards as the days get colder.
If you're interest in beer goes further than just drinking it, there will be a series of beer tasting events that will further educated you on styles and history of beer. Live bands and singers will also be making an appearance.
