Join us for "Cooking with Roo" at Sunny Bank Mills on August 16, 2024! This young people's cooking class takes place in an art gallery amidst the Don't Play With Your Food exhibition. Discover how to make traditional Punjabi Aloo Paratha (potato flatbreads) with Roo Dhissou, an artist and researcher known for her community-focused work. Learn this cherished recipe from Roo's grandparents and enjoy a sit-down lunch with your creations served on traditional steel thalis. This workshop is for ages 12-16.
