Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, please take your seats for the fabulous, entertaining and incredibly gripping Continental Circus Berlin . Set inside a huge traditional white domed tent, the Continental Circus Berlin immediately oozes excitement and enchantment. Making your way into the large and spacious foyer, you are greeted and hugely tempted by an impressive traditional popcorn, candyfloss and ice cream stand. A candyfloss stick, although very expensive at £3, is picture worthy as it stands tall and is definitely big enough to share between a small family.

A trip to the circus is a breath of fresh air in an era where entertainment entails computer games, cinemas and virtual reality. The Continental Circus Berlin is good old fashion fun that will leave you wanting to watch more with its strong, exiting moments that grip you the whole way throughout the show.

There is no doubt that the show has been produced by those who have created some of the world's finest circuses. The outstanding acts are performed by extremely talented performers from all over the world and definitely know how to entertain to a high standard.

The show combined traditional acts such as juggling, balancing, acrobatics and aerial acts with a modern twist of the incredible Laser Man and spectacular UV lighting. The Laser Man in a suit made of LED lights, wowed the audience as he manipulated beams of light into the crowd. The duo clown act entertained the crowd in-between acts with their slapstick comedy that had the children and adults in stitches. The choreography of the acrobatics and aerial acts was graceful and mesmerising, yet gripping as the performers hung from a one ankle loop and completed their performance on a shocking neck spin. The wide variety of acts will keep everyone of all ages entertained no matter how traditional.

The first thing we noticed after we had taken our seats was the live orchestra playing in the background. The orchestra was fantastic and made the show extra special as they combined traditional music with the latest hits and movie favourites. Although out of sight, the orchestra were definitely not forgotten. Looking into the crowd, I could see people of all ages dancing and singing along whilst watching the acts.

The Continental Circus Berlin will be touring the UK for 24 weeks and will be performing in London from the 21st to the 30th of October. The show is highly recommended and has been described by many as world class, so ensure that you book fast and experience this magnificent circus with the whole family before they move onto the rest of their European tour. Leaving the circus, we felt incredibly entertained, inspired and our cheeks were aching because we couldn't stop smiling and laughing the whole way through.
