Growing veg & maintaining sustainability
Sometimes it can be all too easy to get stuck inside the house, wasting the hours away. The children are playing video games, you're trying to find something worthwhile on telly, and before you know it, the day has gone and you haven't really done anything.
When you're in the house all day, you get little exercise, and also lose contact with the outside world. Unless you love to entertain guests on a regular basis, there is not much chance to socialise.
It is not unusual these days for people to live next door to one another for years, and not even no each other's name. The sense of community spirit is not as strong as it once was, mainly because we are too busy, or concerned with our own lives.
Instead, why not visit of volunteer at your local community garden? It is a great way to meet new people, get some exercise and fresh air, and give back to the community.
