Earlier this year the Colliers Wood Chorus suffered the sad loss of one of their cherished members. Les Bass led an active role in the local community; as well as being the chairman for the Colliers Wood Chorus, he also participated in the Colliers Wood International Ukulele Orchestra.

In honour of his memory, the Colliers Wood Chorus are holding a Christmas concert at St. Barnabas Church in Mitcham. Tickets cost £12.50 for adults, £10 concessions, or £30 for families. For every ticket sold, £2.50 will go towards St. Raphael Hospice, who took good care of Les during his stay.

NoŽl: A Christmas Celebration, will take place at 7pm on the 21st December, where there will be complimentary mince pies, mulled wine, and spiced hot apple juice. The concert will include festive songs from around the world, and optional audience participation.
