Unleash their creative side
Cornerhouse is giving teenagers a chance to get hands on experience with a rising artist, through their Collage Workshop. Bored teens can channel their creative juices into something more tangible, and (hopefully), aesthetically pleasing.

A Gores masterpiece

Derek Gores is a Florida-based artist who recycles magazines, labels, data, and found materials to create impressive collages on canvas. Gores' collage series showcases his interests in the beauty of the figure and a fearless sense of play. - Cornerhouse.

Basically, Gores is focused on the body beautiful, and how it can be seen, and explored through unusual collages.

Gores will guide attendees through the techniques and processes he uses to create collages, and will impart some of his knowledge along the way.

Maybe yours will be a masterpiece, or for the parents reading this, here's an opportunity for your son or daughter to do something different, and it beats hanging around the streets, waiting for something to happen.

Tickets are free, all you have to do is email the organisers to book a place.
