Cloth Cat is a non profitable organisation that tries to help improve the quality of the local residences lives within Leeds. They aim to improve confidence skills, making music contacts, learning musical and other skills, help people feel that they are gaining control over their life and help them to feel empowered about going to seek employment.

I have just recently started a course at Cloth Cat which is called 'Sing Your Song.' This is a course that aims to build confidence and enjoyment with using your voice. To have awareness of the different ways you can use your voice and to develop the performance experience. I am at University training to be a Primary School Teacher and I believe that music skills are a very important asset to the primary classroom and so I turned to Cloth Cat. It is a ten week course and I am having a brilliant time making new friends, learning new techniques and vocal skills. I had no previous musical knowledge prior to joining this course and I felt that that might have been an issue. But whatever your ability, they will welcome you with open arms.
