Since 1995 Marco Tripoli has lived in London, where he completed his training in fashion, and then went on to gain further experience in retail. Last month his shop,
Clear, celebrated its first birthday on White Hart Lane in Barnes.

Outside Clear
Clear is one of those little boutiques that you feel drawn to, drop in to browse the stock, and probably emerge with a purchase, just because everything is so enticing and inexpensively priced. To quote Marco he offers an 'exquisite and high quality selection of fashion garments', as well as accessories. His stock is mainly sourced from Europe and the Far East as he is aware that we all think twice before spoiling ourselves these days, and he wants shopping to be an affordable experience, not a guilt-inducing one.
Clear stocks clothes for both sexes, but the ladies are better catered for at present. You can find frocks, knitwear, coats, scarves, bags and costume jewellery. Even Grazie magazine featured one of his coats a while ago, and it can be seen on Marco's website. New stock arrives all the time, so that gives you another excuse to drop in regularly.

Inside Clear
Marco is most definitely not a pushy salesperson, and is happy to chat to his customers, especially if you want to talk about his native Italy. But don't just stop by to chew the fat, buy something while you're at it. If you would like a gift for somebody else, he will also be happy to wrap your purchase.
