Vintage trains will be joined by historic cars as the Severn Valley Railway hosts a Classic Vehicle Day.

Classic cars and trains come together at the Severn Valley Railway

lconic vehicles will be parked up at all six stations along the 16-mile route so visitors can hop on and off trains to view the displays through the day on July 24.

The Severn Valley Railway line runs from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth, stopping at Highley, Arley, Hampton Loade and Bewdley.

Highlights in previous years have included fantastic examples from motoring history including a 1926 Cluley, 1926 Rolls-Royce and a 1979 Austin Maxi.

Public Parking at Highley and Arley will be suspended during this event to make room for the exhibitions plus there will be limited parking will be available at Hampton Loade.

Normal fares apply on the day of 18.00 adults in advance or 19 on the day, 16.50 for seniors in advance of 18 on the day, 12.00 for an advance child ticket or 13 on the day. An Annual Family Pass is valid to use too.
