Cinderella's is a friendly bijou tea room with a difference.

Set in the traditional seaside town of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome in Cinderella's with as much glitter and sparkle as the fairy tale itself. Not only are you served fresh homemade soup, sandwiches and seasonal bakes but people travel from other towns just for Toni and Sarah's ginger scones with rhubarb and ginger jam.



Afternoon tea is served in vintage fine bone china and with a selection of teas ranging from green and Chai to every berry imaginable; you are certainly not restricted to the conventional everyday tea. Of course, if tea is not your preferred choice of beverage, then there is always a latte or the option of luxury hot chocolate or 'magic Ovaltine' with nutmeg and cream.

Although it is fairly common for tearooms to sell local crafts, Cinderella's is that little bit different from the rest, in that they hold regular mosaic making classes and felting workshops throughout the year and the walls are adorned with examples of craftwork from around the Isle of Wight. So don't be surprised if you spy a felted rabbit popping out of a tea cup or a felted guinea pig rummaging about the fine bone china on the shelf.



So why is it called Cinderella's?

Cinderella's started as a dress hire shop over 9 years ago and their wardrobe is continually being updated with ladies' and children's party dresses. You can wander from the tea room into a fantastic world of silk, sequins and evening gowns and cocktail dresses with complementary accessories.

Cinderella's attracts a diverse clientele so if you're looking for a happy little tearoom that greets you with a smile, pop in to see Toni and Sarah for one of their legendary ginger scones.
