It is not even November yet, so you would think you'd have plenty of time to plan for Christmas activities, wouldn't you? Not so. After looking around for Christmassy events, I've discovered a lot of things have already sold out. Stratford Circus gave kids a chance to have breakfast with Santa, but before I even knew about it, all the places were taken,
Fortunately, Stratford Circus has more than just one Christmassy event for the family to enjoy, but although tickets are still available, they are selling fast, so you'd better hurry.
The Christmas Motown Sound
28th November, 8pm, £18 - £30
Mowtown may not feature Christmas songs, but they are so upbeat that they definitely fit the festive period. Directed by composer, Ciyo Brown with a six-piece band and vocalists, Gwyn Jay Allen and Verna Francis, have your spirits lifted by the songs of 1960s America.
The Elves and the Shoemaker
9th - 22nd December, £8 concession, £10 adult, £30 family
A new twist on an old classic. Sam is a shoemaker, but not a very good one. He tries to sell them online, to his neighbour, but nobody wants them. Then one night, Sam gets a visit from some elves, and his life is never the same again.
The Ultimate Christmas Party
13th & 14th December, £8 concession, £10 adult, £30 family
This Ultimate Christmas Party is a tea dance for little people (children 1 - 8 years old), and includes inging, barn dancing, moonwalking, and pass the parcel, all woven into an interactive theatre production. While the elves are hard at work, Santa decides to take a break. But the elves aren't happy about it. They decide to go on strike until Santa shows he cares.
