Christmas Comes But Once A Year
From the 12th to the 23rd of December, a brand new Christmas event is being held at Leeds Castle. Between 3.45pm-8pm, the grounds will be illuminated not only in lights, but also in festivities. The Christmas lights will create a magical experience for a woodland walk, and relive the past on a Victorian train ride to the Fairfax Courtyard. Once you've been dropped off, you can browse the gift stalls, watch the entertainment, and listen to the carol singers. If you spot a reindeer then that might just mean Santa Claus is there too. Tickets cost £20 for adults, £15 for under 12s, and £60 for the family.
You can also pre-book a table at the Fairfax restaurant for a two-course Christmas meal for £12.50. For every adult meal ordered, you get a free child's main course. Additional children's meals are £5.20. The restaurant will be open between 5pm and 7.45pm.
