A former teacher and charity worker from the North East of England, I love people and places and like to try out new experiences wherever possible. Capturing that 'perfect pic' is all part of the pleasure. Access issues are a particular interest.

The Customs House theatre and art centre at Mill Dam South Shields is holding a Christmas Craft Fare in the Dalton Suite community room on Sunday 1st December 2013 with stalls full of Christmas goodies for you to peruse.
Building on the success of their earlier venture in the summer, organisers Joanne Weightman and Justine Bryden will be presenting a range of stalls with fancy goods for Christmas including glassware and jewellery, seasonal foods, Christmas tree decorations, table ornaments and much more.
The event runs from 11am – 4pm and entrance costs 50p per adult – children go free. There will be a chance to win a Christmas Hamper in a raffle as your entrance ticket doubles as a prize draw entry and the Green Room stall will be selling refreshments such as hot homemade soup, mulled wine and mince tarts to warm your winter day.
Justine says, "Hope everyone's getting excited and saving their pennies. Got some fabulous sellers".
