The Hill Singers

Named after Wimbledon Hill, the Hill Singers Choir has been singing to the community for over sixty years. They usually perform three concerts a year, with their most regular venue being at St. Matthews Church in Raynes Park.

The perform to a wide range of music, including Mozart's classical compositions and the Baroque stylings of Handel and Purcell.

For their Christmas concert, they will be running a Victorian theme, using music by composers who were inspired by the Victorian era. These include Pearsall, Sullivan, Parry and, Mendelssohn, as well as Holst, Warlock, Berlioz, and Leuner. The theme will follow through in the refreshments as well. It will take place on the 1st December at 7.30pm, and be conducted by the musical director, Ieystyn Evans, and anyone who enjoys singing will be invited to join the choir.
