What is Christianity?

Christianity Explored is a course run by the Chiswick Baptist Church that aims to give people the time to ask though provoking questions about Jesus Christ. Who is he? Why does it matter?

The course is free to attend and held at 7pm every Thursday until the 7th August. Each week you will watch a DVD, listen to a short talk, and read through passages in the bible before beginning a discussion. You don't have to be religious; whatever your beliefs, you are welcome to join in the discussion, ask tough questions, such as 'can you trust the bible?', 'Why bother with church?', and 'Hasn't science shown that Christianity is wrong?'

It is a chance to expand you general knowledge, become more culturally aware, hear other people's point of view, and socialise over a meal.

If you are unsure whether this course is for you, you can listen to some of the stories from other people who had trepidations, but ended up finding it a rewarding experience.
