Put your hand on your heart and swear that you don't love chocolate, and see if I believe you. You don't have to be an addict, but just somebody who gets that craving every now and then … I'm sure you know what I mean.
If you can't convince me that you really don't like that sensation of chocolate melting on your tongue, that you don't savour an exquisitely made mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, or that you can refuse a slice of chocolate cake, you might consider a visit to one or more of the events taking place during
Chocolate Week between 8 and 14 October.

Before the week officially begins, you can tantalise your taste buds with a Chocolate Extravaganza Meal at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on 4 October. £30 will buy you chocolate cocktails and desserts as well as other yummy treats.
Is your tongue hanging out for more chocolate? Book a table at the same venue between 8 and 14 October and indulge in the whole Chocolate Extravaganza Dessert Menu. Starve yourself before you go so that you can make room for delights that will include Hot Chocolate Pot with a warm Bitter Chocolate Cherry Bakewell and Milk Chocolate Parfait, Scottish Raspberry and Chocolate Macaroons.

Do you adore chocolate, but can't spare the cash to pay for it in Kensington? In that case take yourself off to Glasshouse Street near Piccadilly and satisfy your cravings by spending two hours sampling products from Divine Chocolates at Whole Foods Markets, where Charlotte will tell you what it's like working for a chocolate company.
To wrap up the week Chocolate Unwrapped will be showcasing at Wellington Street, Covent Garden. Both international and British chocolatiers will be presenting their wares, offering free tastings and giving talks and demonstrations. Are you salivating yet?
