Discover The History of Chocolate

Deep in dense wilderness of trees and blushes a brave explorer searches tirelessly. After uncovering clues and studiously examining the landscape, this adventurer is now hot on the trail. And there, hiding behind the begonias, he's found it - the lesser spotted Easter Egg.

Visit Kew Gardens up until the the 14th April, and you and your intrepid explorers can go on a Chocolate Quest to discover the history behind everyone's favourite confection. Learn about Mayan's cacao drink, how Spanish explorers brought cacao to Europe, visit a Georgian coffee house, and find out how the Victorians created the first chocolate bars in Britain.

There will be lots of activities to enjoy, including an easter egg hunt, chocolate tour, chocolate workshops, and Easter themed face painting. All the activities are inclusive with admission to the gardens, which is 14.20 for adults, 12.50 concessions and free for under 16s.
