After munching on Kelloggs cereal bars on the way to work everyday for morning, the weekend is the time to indulge. Making time for a lie in, breakfast becomes brunch, and in the UK, it is traditional to have a big fry up of bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, and sausages. This protein bonanza is quick and easy to prepare, and sure to raise your cholesterol up a few points.

In France, they do things a little differently; a continental breakfast is something I might consider having for pudding - yoghurt, pancakes, pain-aux raisin, etc - and a little more refined.

At L'atelier des Chefs , a little French cooking school in Oxford Circus, their team of highly trained chefs are offering you the best of both worlds.

Teaming up with America's leading number One yoghurt company, Chobani , they are holding three brunch classes this month (14th, 21st, & 28th July).

Chobani is a healthy 0% fat natural yoghurt made with real fruit, live cultures, and no artificial ingredients. It is gluten free, suitable for vegetarians, and has twice as much protein as regular yoghurt.

Learn to cook up some fantastic brunch time recipes with Chobani yoghurt with the guidance of L'atelier des Chefs. Classes are 10.30am-12.30pm and are currently at a major discount of £45 (were £72). Dishes you will make on the 14th July include Layered Chobani yogurt pot with pineapple and a cinnamon nut crunch, Chobani madeleines with orange and raisins, and wild mushrooms on truffled brioche with a poached egg, and American pancakes with blueberry jam. On the 21st July look forward to a summer fruit smoothie, fruity granola bars, and spiced chickpea and chorizo enchiladas. Then on the 28th July, you'll bake Chobani muffins with toasted hazelnuts and honey, home made baked beans with smoked bacon, and poached eggs with hot smoked salmon. Each day will end with a lesson on how to make American blueberry pancakes.

After class, you will then be able to sit down to eat your fabulous creations, along with a complimentary Bloody Mary or glass of fizz. Hopefully by the end of it, you will walk away with the confidence to make these meals at home. Sunday brunch will never be the same again.
