Here's another place I'd like you to chew over...

That's right, this is tea with a difference, and probably one of the big food trends of the moment - bubble tea. So what exactly is it? Well, bubble tea actually originated in Taiwan in the 1980's, so you could say we are a little bit behind the trend, over here. It started as a milky or green tea based drink, into which small balls of tapioca are introduced. These are then sucked up through a wide straw, creating an interesting food-stroke-drink experience.

[ADVERT]These days, the choice of teas has expanded greatly, as has the types of 'bubble' included in the drink, with fruit jellies and exploding, juice filled popping pieces now becoming part of the bubble tea drink experience. And this is where Chew comes in.

The drinks menu is as comprehensive a list of drinks of this type as you could expect to find. You can have - (inhale breath) - bubble rice green teas, bubble milk teas, bubble fruit teas, bubble iced coffees, with tapioca, fruit pops jellies...and if that isn't enough, you can customise too. I think you get the idea that choice is on your side...

Now you're tastebuds are tickled, it couldn't be easier to find it - the location is right in the heart of Soho, so once you've finished shopping or fancy something a little bit different to dessert after dinner, you have a new option.

So, for a taste sensation 30 years in the making, find out what excited the Taiwanese all the way back in the '80's and get yourself along to Chew. Drinking tea will never seem the same again.
