Read, Write, and Talk Books
Book lovers everywhere can gather to the Cheltenham Literature Festival 2012 for literary discussions and debates. The festival will take place over the 5th-14th October and will feature some of the best publishing houses, acclaimed authors, and other prominent figures in the arts.
Winnie The Witch
There are activities for all the family, such as an arts & crafts market, a Waterstones children's hideaway, and several cafes to suppress that 'rumbley in your tumbly'.
Most of the events are free, including a literary lounge, a drawing workshop, dance classes, live music, and a 'Sky Rainforest Rescue Canopy Walk'.
If you prefer the more academic side of literature you can always book in on one of the writer's workshops, or attend Julian Baggini's Philosophy Day. There is also the chance to hear J.K. Rowling talk about her upcoming novel for adults.
