A green finger's Garden of Eden, the Chelsea Flower Show returns to the Royal Hospital for another year between the 20th - 24th May. The event has been a highlight of the British springtime for over a hundred years, and features five hundred and fifty exhibitors. But before you buy anything, you might want to wait until the judges announce the winner of the Best Product of the Year. There are seventeen finalists who have designed environmentally friendly tools for the garden.

The judges will of course, also be giving out medals to the best gardens, but this you is a chance to have your say, and vote inn the People's Choice Award.

Special aspects of this year's event will include a grand waterlily sculpture by Croatian artist, Ana Tsarev. It will be located on the roundabout outside Bull Ring gate.

On Friday evening there will be an RHS Chelsea at Twilight, which will include light opera and champagne.

To celebrate Britain in Bloom's fiftieth anniversary, Alan Titchmarsh will be designing his first garden for the show in thirty years. He will be joining Kate Gould to create 'From the Moors to the Sea'.
