Veteran Chapel Sessions performers, The Burns Unit, will be leading the show at St Edwards Church for a night of classic tunes. Head along to the community led music series for Chapel Sessions: The Burns Unit on Saturday February 17th for a post Valentine's Day boogie session.
Chapel Sessions is a community run not-for-profit music series held at St. Edwards Church at Netley Abbey. Their periodic shows feature the occasional international act, but focus on local acts and performers. The volunteers are all locals too, which is what makes this a real community event. Volunteers work behind the bar, selling raffle tickets, and even designing flyers for events. It's all about creating an event with a focus on having a good time instead of focussing on profit.
The Burns Unit are a local blues rock band that cover a variety of classic hits from across decades and eras. Some of their favourites include the Animals, ZZ Top, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Santana. You can find out more about them about about any upcoming shows on their Facebook page.
Tickets for Chapel Sessions: The Burns Unit can be booked online, over the phone by calling 07702980677, or purchased in person from the Netley Library.
