Adding extra appeal to the texting generation, the Camden Crawl music festival has returned from an extended break with a brand new name. CC14. Who would have though alphanumeric code would become so popular?
Another popular feature of CC14 will appeal to those with an aversion to mud, sleeping bags, and creepy crawlies. The hassle free midsummer fest will take place within plumbing friendly venues across town.
Usually a springtime fixture, The Camden Crawl has moved to the weekend of the 20th & 21st June, for a pre-Glastonbury celebration that doesn't require roughing it.
Day tickets are £26.50, while the whole weekend is £45. You can also book VIP tickets for £85, which includes priority entry, a goody bag, and after show party with the artists and crew. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands, which grant you entry to all the venues and events.
The line-up includes acts such as ABC, who made it big in the 1980s with their debut album, 'The Lexicon of Love'. Also on call is funk punk bandm Atari Teenage Riot, whose techno sounds was dubbed 'Digital Hardcore' by Alec Empire in 1992. Others to look forward to include DJ Target, Dirty Beaches, Gnarwolves, and Mickey Lightfoot.
