Let the Diocese entertain
Does the idea of church bring back memories of you being dragged along as a child with your parents, or giggling in the pews as the grown ups would admonish and frown? If so, then forget those memories because St Martin's Church in the Bull Ring is making some noise.

This is an outdoor event in Birmingham Cathedral Square, with a variety of performances including open mic, giant lawn games, face painting and mehndi.

Church, Diocese, St Martin's Church

Hopefully the weather turns out nice, but if not the performances will still go ahead. The church is determined to make it a fun event for all to enjoy, and remove the stigma associated with 'going to church'.

It might not be an education in religion, but Catalyst Culture, are offering an introduction into what church is really like: fun, current, and about celebrating life. And hey, you might just shout "HALLELUJAH", if the feeling strikes.
