The Castle Islington Interior

Quiet, cosy and relaxing. These are three words which pop into my mind every time I think of the little Islington pub. Home-like atmosphere is another word I'd like to add to its description. The ideal place to go after a hard day's work.

Besides the wide variety of alcoholic drinks, and even wider variety of wines, this place also serves food. There are different types of meals depending on the time of the day.

You can choose a dish from the lunch menu, dinner menu, Sunday menu or special menu. All the meals are cooked from fresh. It's also interesting to note that every Monday the staff swaps out ingredients from the popular British dishes and inserts sustainable alternatives. If you have heard of the so called sustainable food, you'd be happy to know this.

The prices are quite affordable considering The Castle is situated in one of the most expensive area in London. The most expensive meals don't cost more than 20 pounds and the regular food is even cheaper.

All in all, it's worth visiting this place.

The Castle is part of the Gestronimo-Inns chain. You can find the little inn on 54 Pentonville Road in Islington, London.

The link to the official website will help you become more familiar with the menus and prices.
