My partner and I decided to go for a drive around Richmond upon Thames where we stumbled across a lovely bar and restaurant with a village feel. We stopped here primarily because it was a sunny day and they offered outdoor seating.
The restaurant seemed to be filled with locals that knew the waiters well. It was an older crowd with a handful of families and some individuals just stopping to read the paper and have a drink on a Sunday afternoon. A very relaxed atmosphere.
As we entered the restaurant we were greeted with exceptional service - attentive, good-humored waiters that were willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable. We ordered a glass of prosecco and a beer to go with the charcuterie board (pictured).

The charcuterie board was unique; it came with tapenade, houmous and falafel. It was delicious and very well presented.
Sitting outside is a little noisy as there a busy road outside. However, following our stop here, we went for a walk along the river which is a stones throw from this restaurant.
