Teach a New Dog Old Tricks

So you suck at poker, can't play rummy, and lose just about every card game you play. You're friends tease, they taunt, and you're constantly out of pocket. Do you want to get your own back? Can you prove that you can beat them at cards? Then why not impressive them with the trickiest game of all - the sleight of hand.

Have ever watched in awe as magicians shuffle a pack of cards dexterity, revealed the queen you were holding, or made them mysteriously disappear? Have you ever wised you could do it?

Comedian and card magician, Jerry Sadowitz is going to show you how at a brand new public venue. The Museum of Comedy only just opened on the 28th May; as well as hold exhibitions, it will host comedy shows and workshop, amongst which, is A Card Magic Course for Beginners.

Sadowitz has been practicing card magic for over forty years, and enjoys teaching those who wants to learn. In a six-day workshop spread across two months, you will earn the tricks of the trade. Bookings cost 420, but if you are unsure if you want to go the whole hog, there is an introductory seminar on the 7th June for 145. Between 11am-6pm, Sadowitz will teach you about the history of card magic, the theory behind it, give demonstrations, and get you practicing a few simple tricks. If you decide you would then like to go for the whole course, dates are on the 16th, 23rd, & 30th June, and the 7th, 14th, & 21st July.
