Comedy From South Africa

The Jive Cape Town Funny Festival is an award winning comedy festival in South Africa. Now coming to London, you can see this diverse tapestry of humour at New Wimbledon Theatre between the 23rd - 25th October.

Headline the event is South Africa's number one comedian and television star, Marc Lottering. He performed his first show, After The Beep, in 1997, and is best known for his character acting, amongst which is Aunty Merle. Aunty Merle is a housewife from Belgravia Road in Athlone. She was Lottering's first creation and a firm fan favourite. Other characters include Smiley, Galatia, Pastor Brandon, Coleen, and Travis.

Lottring will be joined by Alan Committie, Nik Rabinowitz, Carl Wastie, Siv Ngesi and Tumi Morake.

Tickets to the show are 22.90 - 27.90.
