If you're 18 and over, make sure you get yourselves down to Southbank before the 30th September for a spectacular, bizarre and remarkable night. Underbelly productions have put on a series of events taking place in Southbank, covering everything from burlesque to magic to circus acts and though there is a lot to choose from, let me recommend one in particular, which they have called Cantina.



Cantina is essentially a circus, but with a surrealist twist. One critic, Charlotte Marshall (Official London Theatre) has said that 'If Tim Burton had created a circus, it might look a bit like this' and that might give you an idea of the surreal, Lynchian type of event you would witness. It's intimate setting makes the show all the more enchanting, and really has to be seen to be understood.

The night starts before you even go through the doors with an outside bar, lit by fairy lights and with members from the cast already acting. Oh, and by the by, the drinks are very reasonably priced too!



I know what you're thinking, this sounds like you might need to break the piggy bank, but surprisingly it will only set you back £15. Not only this, but you can go and see the act almost any day from now until the 30th of September. You really can't ask for more. Just buy your tickets here. Everything is enthralling, right down to the atmosphere and is an event not to be missed.



Captivating from start to end, you'll want to go again and again.
