Home bakers can have their cake and eat it at a show taking place at Birmingham NEC during November. Cake International – The Sugarcraft, Cake Decorating and Baking Show is celebrating its 20th anniversary with some star guests from November 8 -10. Top of the bill is The Great British Bake Off's Mary Berry who will demonstrate some of her favourite recipes in the Cake International Theatre and meet and greet for fans at a book signing in the VIP area on November 8 and 9.

Acclaimed cake decorator Mich Turner will demonstrate her skills throughout the three day show, sharing her specialist knowledge and taking part in a Question & Answer session. Other sugarcraft and cake decorating talents include Stephen Benison showcasing his 'Vintage and Art Deco Designs for Cakes', Marion Frost demonstrating her 'Quick Christmas Cakes with Patchwork Cutters', Karen Davies showing her 'Baby under a Crochet Blanket' and Lindy Smith sharing her 'Creative Colour for Cake Decorating'.

Wallace and Gromit will be launching their BIG Bake project, which will be supporting Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity, helping children in hospitals and hospices across the UK including Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice. Paul Da Costa Greaves will be whipping up a range of irresistible quick and easy-to-bake recipes in the newly named Cake International Theatre. There will be more inspiration in the Authors' Kitchen where leading cooking authors will demonstrate recipes from their best-selling books.

For the first time, The National Cupcake Week Championship finals will be taking place live at the show. With individual competitions for both professional and home-bakers, the categories include Classic, Themed, Free-From and Made with Alcohol. The finalists from each category will be put through their paces by a panel of top judges to go head-to-head to contend for the coveted title of National Cupcake Champion.

If you have always wanted to take up sugarcraft but don't know where to start A Taste of Sugar Mini-Workshops will teach you all you need to know. And chocoholics will be flocking to the tempting Chocolate Workshops for top tips and creative ideas. With more than 100 exhibitors offering the latest in supplies and inspiration aspiring chefs will soon be cooking up a storm in their own kitchens.
