This small cubby-hole sized coffee shop barely warrants the title of a 'cafe', but with seats, coffee, and fresh food what more do you need? After all small is beautiful. Caffeine and Co is one of my new favourite places to hit on the daily grind. The coffee is very good considering the fierce competition in this area.

The staff are young enough to enjoy a chat with, but old enough to know about the coffee you're drinking, so if you're somewhat of a connoisseur, they're the place to go. Breakfast is served from 7.30am too, so you can pop in on the way to the office.

During the day there are freshly cooked veggie and carnivorous options. Fruit, salads, and breakfast bagels are on the menu, as are overstuffed sandwiches, baguettes and cakes that might just tempt you away from the savoury food. The atmosphere is relaxed but excitable as new customers stumble in, owing to the location that is riddled with new and exciting independents. They are open on Saturdays too, so if you're peckish try their lunch options.

In our office we have an obsessive coffee addict, who has his own professional coffee making machine at home, and has previously trained as a barista. Last week he declared 'I think I've found my fix' as he strolled in with latte. At midday, 4pm, and 6pm he leaves the office for a cup of the stuff at Caffeine and Co; if that isn't reason enough to go to Caffeine and Co I don't know what is.
