Everybody needs a pit stop. It's an essential part of going out anywhere I think. You do a little shopping, play a little sport, or just plan to meet a friend for 30 minutes - where better to go than a cafe...

Well, let me tell you where exactly you can go that is better than a cafe - .

Located on Brompton Road, Vienna Cafe looks as grand outside as the cakes and sweets look delicious on the inside. You have a choice of teas and coffees available to you, plus a plethora of different things to nibble. From sandwiches to biscuits, cakes to soup, you have everything you need to enjoy a little break from the people and hubbub outside.

Let's have a look at the menu a bit closer...

As a recommendation, and being that you are in a Viennese coffee house, you should really give the Vienna Kaffe a go. A lovely mixture of a double shot of espresso and whipped cream - a real treat.

To go with it, just take a look at the Konditorei and Biscuits - you really haven't tasted anything as exquisite as the biscuits here - though you really should also give the Sacher Torte a try...

Of course, should you be looking for something more substantial, you are absolutely covered - with a dinner menu available, a great selection of wines and Austrian beer too - expect to take longer over the menu then you were expecting, it really is a tough choice...

I can't recommend this place enough - and a tip - if you want to impress somebody, go there for afternoon tea, you'll both leave very happy...
