Young and coffee in varying degrees, Kat also says stuff @ThoroughlyMode

Finding perfect vintage pieces takes commitment. And sorting through racks in specialist vintage stores and boutiques can be so impersonal and 'rummage-y', do you not think? It's so hard to know what's in your size! And particularly beautiful pieces attract a scramble. So I suggest we aspire to the way 'real ladies' used to shop and revert to visiting collections in a studio, one on one – or almost anyway.
Which is exactly the service my new discovery Juno Says Hello can provide. Seriously people, why did no one tell me about this sooner? They're into luxe vintage and collect wonderful dresses, and a worthy pants suit or two, from all over the world, then hang onto them in their Bloomsbury studio until someone comes along who fits the bill; then there it is – a match made in vintage fashion heaven.
The best way to introduce yourself to them is to have a peek at what they have on their website in your size. It's only the tip of the iceberg, and of course everything looks different in person, but it will give you a good idea of what frocks they have in. It's highly likely that you'll get there and find they have a lot more though. If you spot something you like, or even if you just like the cut of their jib, or Chanel suit, then get in touch and book yourself an appointment.
When you arrive just give the lovely ladies who're responsible for the collection an idea of what you're looking for and they'll match you with some frocks to try on. It's a really nice service and makes the purchase all the more pleasant as you know you've tried everything on you could.
If they don't have the perfect piece for you yet, then stay in touch with them on Twitter, or sign up for their newsletter, and they'll let you know when something comes in for your size that they think might be right for you. It's almost as good as having your own personal shopper. It's the perfect meeting of old and new. Wonderful old 'girls' – they name their frocks – and internet technology that lets you try, via skype or other, before you make an appointment to come in.
They also have someone who can tailor your dream dress to fit you if it doesn't quite. And they'll give you a freebie shopper bag – even if you don't make a purchase. So don't get annoyed at me for not telling you sooner – I didn't know either!
