On Sunday 14th December from 12pm London's cool crafters will be gathering around a handmade felt christmas tree* (complete with pom-poms) chatting all things BUST -y.

Why? This is because New York based women's pop-culture magazine BUST will be in full craft-fair throw at The Islington Metal Works (just behind Angel Tube) with over 70 stalls full of handmade treasures and workshops for you to join.

The talented designer-makers that will be at the party include household names such as "Pugs not drugs" illustrator Gemma Correll and other indy sparkly-sellers.

With a mix of vendors selling everything from perspex jewellery and screen-printed cushions to taxidermy and terrariums, the BUST Craftacular is a one-stop destination for unique Christmas gifts.

The word on the craft street, is that the King of Paper-Cut himself, artist Rob Ryan will be selling exclusive screen-printed wrapping paper.

Not forgetting the all important Women's Institute cake stand, tube carriage cocktail bar, hip spinning DJ's and free raffle (hint :: especially good for Tatty Devine fans).

Here is the DIY Workshop schedule;

Shape your own I Am Acrylic necklace or keyring – all day (£10)

Stitch chic felt slippers with I CAN Make Shoes – 12.30pm-2pm (FREE)

Make a rad animal rattle with Jazz Domino Holly – 2pm-3.30pm (FREE)

Lino-print Xmas cards and gift tags with N1 WI – 3.30pm-5.00pm (FREE)

Create a unique upcycled bracelet with Uncommonly Beautiful – 5.00pm-6.30pm (£15)

*PS. Not totally certain about the felt tree with pom-poms but I like to think the team might knock this up over a mince pie on the Saturday...

Entrance is £3 on the door. Free goodie bags for the first 100.

The is supported by Folksy, Craft Candy and Mollie Makes.
